    Feeling Better

Thank you all for your thoughts and helpful information while I was feeling down. I am doing much better. After being on prescription ID food and Pepcid AC for over a week, I started back on my regular Eukanuba food this weekend. I am happy to report I did not throw up once all weekend. Mom spoke with the vet on Friday and she seems to think it was a really bad case of gastritis and my tummy just needed time to feel better.

The weather was beautiful this weekend, Mom and I went on lots of walks and layed in the grass to enjoy the warm fall day. No pictures though, I am going to have to start training Mom a little better.

    Heya bismarck!

Glad to hear you're feeling better! Hey - I got your message, and though it's been a really long time since I've changed my template (I'm pretty crusty myself) - I'm gonna take a look and fiddle a bit this week to see how one would change their header. I'll let you know if I have any luck!

I'm glad you are feeling better and it was real major!

This weekend was nice here too but now it got really cold. Mom and Dad saw a few snowflakes and the puddles in the driveway were frozen this morning!!!

Heya Bismarck! When my tummy goes sour, Mommy feeds me a piece of raw fennel. It helps!

Bismarck - I haven't had much luck fiddling with banner templates... but I wanted you to know that I'm still messing around with it and that I haven't forgotten about it. If I can't figure this stuff out - I'll try and find some one who can!

And for anyone else out there who knows how to change the blogger header... let us know!

    :P

    Hope you're doing even better!

    Bismarck,

Question - do you want to keep the border around "Adventures of Bismarck" or do you just want to put a background image behind the whole thing - or - did you want to replace the WHOLE thing with an image that has the title already incorporated?

Just leave me a comment - here or on my blog - or, if you'd rather, email me at BrodytheBulldog at yahoo.com.

In my fiddling, I've realized a few things - first, that each template is a little different - so the way I'd adjust my own template won't be the same exact same procedure for you. So, I made a test blog using the same template you use and started over. Next, It seems like there are a few ways to change the header depending on what you really want to do.

Depending on the questions above, I'll write out the step by step process as best I can.

Don't worry buddy, I gotcha covered!

Ok Bismarck - I think I got it.

It's actually easier than I had expected - but let me know if you have any troubles and we'll get you through it.

You'll have to have the image hosted somewhere... if you can't host it yourself, you can put it up on Blogger (using the technique discribed in my Button Posting Doc in step #2(b)). Of course, if you have trouble with that - I'll be here.

Can't wait to see the new header!

    Your pal,
